Biography

With a lifetime of simultaneously managing multiple responsibilities, Jessica Cappock has a reputation for meeting and exceeding expectations regardless of the complexity. Jessica is a litigation partner experienced in business, land use, real estate, construction defect, community association, and transportation and logistics litigation. As a business owner and entrepreneur prior to her legal career, Jessica considers and understands the nature of business and incorporates that knowledge and experience into her litigation strategy. Jessica approaches litigation with a business-centric focus, zeroed in on bringing you the best results possible to continue your growth and success.

Jessica graduated from the University of North Florida Honors Program with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. She then graduated third in her class from Florida Coastal School of Law in 2020 with her Juris Doctorate. During law school Jessica served simultaneously as the Managing Editor of Law Review, the Director of Student Ambassadors, and as a member on the Moot Court Honor Board and the Mock Trial Honor Board. She also worked as the teaching assistant for Contracts II and earned Book Awards for Contracts II, Criminal Law, and Pretrial Litigation Drafting. Jessica also received the Best Closing Award for the Mock Trial competition.

Excelling in writing, Jessica published her first article, Meeting the Religious Organization Exemption to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964: Choosing the Proper Test, in the May 2020 Florida Coastal Law Review. Subsequently she has written multiple other short articles and legal blogs, such as Stand Tall or Lay Low, published in the Jacksonville Daily Record.

Jessica, a south Florida native from Fort Pierce, currently resides in Ponte Vedra Beach with her husband and two beautiful daughters, Lorelei and Kaye. Lorelei is an avid ballerina and Kaye enjoys competitive allstar cheerleading. Jessica is a former tennis instructor and current outdoor enthusiast. She enjoys paddleboarding, camping, fishing, and anything near a large body of water. She has traveled globally with her young daughters and enjoys experiencing other cultures together as a family.
